Wimps, Pimps and the Limbaugh “ization” of Non-theism Brian
Worley
Wow,
imagine a
secular humanist
quoting a verse
of scripture?
Subtract the
abomination and
references to
the Lord here
from this
powerful thought
and think about
the message that
this verse
proclaims. For
the record: I
view the Bible
to be a book of
literature with
the Book of
Proverbs
“largely”
being a
collection of
“positive
verbs.” Whereas
some folks
(inject a
clearing my
throat sound
here) cannot
understand such
archaic
language, let me
bring it down to
our common day
vernacular,
“Don’t
defend
wrongdoers nor
speak badly
about good
people because
it is a terrible
thing to do!”
That is a damn
good principle
to live by! This
essay intends to
address in
principle what I
see as
“abominations”
within
non-theism.
While I
subscribe to
diplomacy and
seeking common
ground with
people of faith,
my intention
within this
essay is to
challenge those
narcissist
non-theist
“knuckleheads”
amongst us. Wimps
Browse
around the
non-theist world
upon the
internet and try
to ascertain who
is who? Rarely
do you ever get
to know the real
name of those
that are the
most divisive.
How often do you
get to see a
real picture
together with
their name and
the region in
which they live? If
you’re going
to hide behind
your computers
and hurl insults
and polarize
people of
faith…you’re
a wimp! I
understand why
you have chosen
to hide! My
opinion of your
wimpy status
will not change
until you have
the courage to
show your face
to the world. If
the Feds really
wanted to
curtail this
type of
behavior, forget
seeking to
legislate
“blasphemy
laws” and
simply demand
those whom want
to act this way
to be able to do
so with the
stipulation that
they must do so
with open
disclosure about
their identity.
Too bad,
I couldn’t
“patent”
this idea or get
paid for what it
is worth! Just
remember you
first heard it
here at
Ex-Minister! I
might add that
wimps have a
character defect
that manifests
itself whenever
courage is
absent. Now,
lets make an
application of
the
“justification
of the wicked”
expressed in the
proverb. Wimps
lack the courage
to step forward
and express
whenever someone
gets “out of
line” within
our movement. Pimps
& Panderers
I
detest what I
have witnessed
lately at the
Center for
Inquiry with
their invention
and promotion of
a Blasphemy
Contest!
I’m calling
upon Ronald A.
Lindsey to step
down from his
leadership
positions! If he
cannot do what
is good for
secular humanism
upon his own
volition, then I
suggest that the
“butler”
show him where
the door is!
This should be
done immediately
before he
succeeds in
splitting
secular humanism
right down the
middle! A
true
representation
of secular
humanism
doesn’t
provoke hatred
towards people
of faith. I
resent secular
humanist
pandering
towards atheism;
it’s nothing
more than the
love of money
taking priority
over principles!
Atheists can do
their thing, but
let us not allow
anyone to blur
the line of
demarcation
between atheism
and secular
humanism! There
is a rather
large divide
between the two!
Do secular
humanists not
know who they
are and the
principles in
which they
subscribe to?
Where are
the secular
humanist voices
besides Paul
Kurtz? Seems
like some
non-theists
should be off to
the see the
“Wizard” in
search of some
courage and
heart like the
lion and tin man
characters were
in the “Wizard
of Oz” film. There
are many
enablers and
protectors
within and
around
non-theism
today. This
website hasn’t
been shy about
addressing these
issues or
personalities!
The intentional
hate provoking
towards people
of faith needs
to stop within
our movement! The
Limbaugh
"ization"
of non-theism It
seems an MTV
style of
thinking has
nurtured and or
influenced a
number of
non-theists
amongst us. They
make faith into
an us verses
them matter,
this approach is
so unnecessary!
Intelligent
people use
reason to
persuade folks
while frustrated
individuals
revert to an
immature teenage
type of
brashness.
I think
it is sad to see
older men (whom
should know
better) resort
to this juvenile
manner of
communication.
Yes, I’m
calling a spade
a spade here!
Immature
non-theists
should be called
into
accountability
for their
divisive
behavior! I
think it is
disgusting to
see corporate
media like NPR
promoting and
protecting these
misguided folks! I
had a good
hearty laugh
last week upon
learning that a
group of
investors
bidding to
purchase the
NFL’s St.
Louis Rams was
derailed because
it included a
divisive hate
monger amongst
their ranks,
Rush Limbaugh.
There should be
consequences for
hate mongers! It
is unfortunate
that a number of
non-theists
would sell their
“non-spiritual,
humanistic
souls” for
some fame or
notoriety.
Something is
missing within
the psyche of
non-theist’s
whom employ a
“Limbaugh”
type of divisive
rhetoric towards
people of faith!
The wimps, pimps
and panderers
within
non-theism
fueling the
demand for these
arrogant and
belligerent
atheist
spokesmen have
no shame. To
boot, they are
too cowardly to
open the subject
for debate!
Fundamental
atheism is alive
and well today! Lets stop justifying the destructive behavior and stop speaking badly about truly good people of faith whom are progressive and “bright spots” in our world! Lets muster some courage and take a stand for secular humanist values!
