All Religions are
Bunk By
Jim Worrell
This epistle is meant to shock
some, anger others. In the end it
is to show just how ridiculous religious beliefs are.
The bible has literally hundreds if not thousands of errors,
contradictions, inconsistencies, impossibilities and total lack of common sense.
The bible was not written by a god, nor was it divinely inspired by a
supreme being. It is the work of multiple unknown authors, who to this day
have not been identified. The
original writings are no longer in existence.
We are therefore unable to verify their reliability and credibility.
Note here that if there is just one error in the bible, then no one knows
how many other errors there are. The
bible is touted to be the perfect words of god, but just a cursory reading will
reflect its errors. Just compare
Genesis 1 with Genesis 2.
Religion is merely a superstition and consisting of many made-up
concepts, false words and non-existent beings.
Religion is the world’s biggest scam.
Churches and church leaders are total parasites subsisting off the
earning of hardworking people. The
scam works because religion is designed to appeal to man’s greatest fear—death.
Man has a fear of dying and having the world continue on after him
without him ever existing again. Hindus
attempts to solve this problem by introducing the false belief of reincarnation.
Every once in a while, some idiot will claim to have been another person
in another life. It just ain’t
so!
To further the false concept that one lives after death, religion has
fostered the false belief that man has an immortal soul that lives forever.
However, the bible says very little about the soul.
The obvious question, by an inquiring mind would be, does the soul have
mass? If yes, can it be destroyed
by fire? Can it be attracted by
magnetism? Just how does the soul
retain memory? If the soul has no
mass; then, it is nothing;” and “nothing” cannot have memory, a
personality, or life, much less eternal life. The way to
prove that Christianity is false is to merely follow the directions of Jesus. One
of the biggest lies of all is when Jesus said “Verily, verily, I say
unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also, and
greater works than these shall he do because I go unto my Father.”
(John 14:12 KJV) This
lie does not require one to even pray. It
says that if you believe in Jesus, you can do greater works than Jesus did.
Do you really believe that? If
you do, you are delusional, insane or stupid or all three.
Now, Jesus is alleged to have walked on water, stopped a storm,
multiplied fishes and loaves, cured leprosy and blindness, and raised people
from the dead. Biggest of all, he
is alleged to have died and returned to life.
Well, John 14:12 above says you can not only do those things, but you can
do greater things than Jesus did because he went unto his Father.
Okay, it is time to test it. I
challenge any believing Christian to go to a funeral home and raise one of the
corpses from the dead. Next, I
challenge them to stop a bullet, a tornado and cure cancer.
Please
note that this promise by Jesus doesn’t even require a person to pray for the
miracle to happen. It simply says
that the believer can do greater works than Jesus.
It is not so, and it can be proven every time a Christian commands the
impossible.
I want to end this proof that Jesus lied and prayer doesn’t work with
the following narration:
Pretend you are standing on the street corner with your 10-year-old child
waiting to cross the street. Standing
next to you is the Pope, six Cardinals (not birds), 12 nuns, Billy Graham, Jerry
Falwell (brought back to life for this story), Rick Warren, and “Let us pray—George
W. Bush.” Oh, and there is one
other person, a physician with his black medical bag.
A large truck with a drunk driver drives up over the curb and hits your
child. Your child is lying on the
sidewalk, unconscious, and bleeding at the mouth and nose.
My question is who are you going to ask to assist your child?
If you are intelligent and intellectually honest, you will say, “The
physician.” But then you might
also add that you would ask the others there to pray for your child.
Okay, so the physician attends to your child while the others pray.
Now, let me alter the story. You
have the exact same situation, except this time there is no physician in the
crowd. So now, all you have is the
Pope, the clerics, preachers and nuns praying for your child. What do you think this will do for your child?
I will tell you. It will do nothing, absolutely nothing, for your child.
Your child will continue his/her injured condition until medical help
arrives and begins administration of treatment. There are thousands of ways to prove that prayer has no efficacy. Prayer is merely talking to oneself. Since prayer doesn’t work, that proves that there is no God listening and answering prayer. It also proves that the words of Jesus in John 14:12 are lies. Sorry, but if the shoe fits, wear it. All religions are bunk.
